Description: NOTING that the Theocracy of Tasmardica has detained in interment camps, approximately 1,240,000 non-Muslims.
UNDERSTANDING that Tasmardica is a threat to all nations around the world of all cultures and religions.
ACKNOWLEDGING that Tasmardica is requesting $100,000 for the freedom of each of these individuals and that if any nation invades they will execute all of them.
The World Assembly hereby CONDEMNS the Theocracy of Tasmardica.

Doesn't seem like there's been put much thought into this one and imo, the only reason it reached quorum is because of the telegram campaigns to get Liberate Greece and Commend 10000 Islands into the queue, so I'll be voting against.
This will only be my third WA vote, so please do help me along in understanding this-- what exactly will a condemnation do to the nation in question?
Also, since this is clearly covered in WA Resolution #38, there is no reason to vote yes to the proposal in question. Individual nations, organizations, and regions should be taking the appropriate action to punish Tasmardica-- a condemnation is not the action that Resolution #38 discusses.
EDIT: Your link appears to be dead, by the way. It says that I don't have permission to access it-- which may very well be true.

There's several reasons why I vote against this one; I'm not involved in roleplay at all. That doesn't mean that I won't vote for roleplay C&C's at all, but they need to be decently written to get my support. The condemnation of Omigodtheykilledkenny is a good example of the kind of RP C&C I don't mind voting for. This one on the other hand says nothing unique about the nation in question. I expect half of Nationstates' roleplayers could be condemned for the same reason. It just seems to me like there's been no thought at all put into this particular condemnation, which is annoying, when people have otherwise gotten a lot better at writing decent resolutions. Of course there's also the fact that I couldn't care less that someone's repressing 1,240,000 imaginary non-Muslims. If people want my vote on such a resolution the least they could do would be to dress it up in fancy writing.
Edit: My link isn't dead, but you need to ask Grub to change your forum mask to that of a World Assembly member. When that's done you'll be able to access the poll.

Ah, I see-- sent a couple of telegrams since I joined, but they haven't been addressed yet. ARGH!
Thanks for clearing that up. I must have searched the NS forums for two hours trying to find out what condemnation actually did. Having looked over the SC thread itself, heard everything you have to offer on the subject, and looked at my own opinion on things, I do have to agree with you. This isn't something the SC should even be dealing with-- obviously it wasn't important enough for a decent write-up to be done, so it's not important enough to warrant voting into practice.
Good luck, non-Muslims.

I'm not that interested in RP tbh. Also, the resolution is badly written. There are many highly repressive governments in NS that are doing far worse things than this. Hell, I have puppets that are at least as repressive as Tasmardica. Voting AGAINST.
