Here is the official quarterly economic report of the 10000 Islands. This report has been compiled by our old time economist who lives in our isles and is only known by the name of Mortimer.
January 2011 - During this past quarter, we still maintained the #1 population rank out of user created regions, but our overall population fell by nearly 200 nations to reach the 1327 nation mark. As a result, this quarter was not as great as many had anticipated. There are a great many factors that have been compiled to bring you these reports.
Capitals:
Capitals are the beginning step in establishing your 10000 Islands nation on the map and showing your dedication toward growing your nation. All capitals had no gain this quarter.
Farming:
Our farms produced at a good level, but unfortunately no extra profit was made this quarter because of the decrease in population.
Mining:
Several key mining finds were discovered this quarter. All mines produced 5,000 Tacos in profits.
Shipping:
All shipping fleets slowed this quarter because of lack of demand. All shipping produced 2,000 in losses.
Factories:
Factories are currently the hardest and most costly to build on the 10000 Islands map. With their steep price tag, few nations can afford these modern marvels, and unfortunately, all factories slowed down this quarter. All factories had 5,000 in losses.
