I've noticed, while reading some forum posts, that security among the boards is a huge concern. I'm frightened, however, by how easy it is to gain passwords to certain boards. Before my second week of being a registered nation, I was given access to the department of defense. I prepose that perhaps a screening process be put into place for potential TITO members and of rnay other position that may give way to classified information

All TITO nations are approved by Grub with background checks and sufficient clearances to assure the Government of the loyalty of those who serve in the forces. Rest easy.

i agree but i see no way actually screening someone the only thing i can think of is a minimum period of time a nation must be with the region before it can become a tito member or any other type of membership
I'm not questioning leadership or anything. If there was a leadership problem, we wouldn't be such a large and successful region, would we? It's just that I was asked to join TITO within days of joining the region. If I were a puppet-nation to a region crasher, then I would know when to start crashing and where, if that makes any sense. Wow, i'm going to shut up before people think I'm a crasher or somthing.

You're right about that. But it's just the principle. Well, it doesn't seem as though and catastrophes have come of the current defense, so I guess it must be pretty good. Good job to all involved.

I know I bring up a lot of issues that are against some of the rules, but I appologize if this is a burden to anyone. I thank you all for showing me when I am wrong as to clear any confusion.

i agree with security screenings, i mean that since the region of 10000 Islands is not password protected anyone can just join up, enen thought i dont think they would have much success in some kind of undermining operation due to our size, but then they can also easily gain access to TITO and gain valuble information about our whereabouts, actions, intentions, and operations. i suggest that each member should be given a certain security clearance based on their rank that allows them to access certain things and not access others. the higher ranking officers will get much easier access of course and since they are much closer to Grub then it will make sure that any type if insurgence is impossible.

TITO is an open organization, so there is no need for that. There are certain sections just for nations that are TITO members, but none it is supposed to be very secret.
We are a defender region and go into action when others try to bully weaker regions for no good reason. For that reason, we can stay open and still be very successful like we've been so far.
