Happy Birthday Marines!

For those of you that don't know, today is the 236th birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

The United States Marine Corps was founded in Tun Tavern, Philadelphia, PA on November 10, 1775 by Captain Samuel Nicholas.

Every year the Marines (active and former) celebrate the Birthday of the Marine Corps with the Marine Corps Birthday Ball.

I've been out of the Corps for 7 1/2 years now and I still consider November 10th, my second birthday.

If you see or talk to a Marine today...shake their hand and tell them Happy Birthday Marine....trust me...it means the world.
