Parthini Traded For Rarely Steamboats & GCP

I am happy (and a bit sad) to announce that our Delegate, Parthini, has been traded to the region of DEN for Rarely Steamboats, the nation of Gen Collin Powell, and a nation to be named later.

While I will be sad to see Parthini go, I think this was a good trade for the 10000 Islands because we get two very active UN nation plus another possible UN nation a few weeks down the line.

I also have been working on a few more trades, so unfortunately some more of you might have be shipped off for good if I can get 2-3 active UN nations in return. Since you guys are more valuable than invader nations, you are in high demand.

Also, Rarely Steamboats has won the election for the Delegates position. Congratulations to him!

There will be a few more days for nations to formally apply and then there will be a few days to campaign. After that we'll have the election/race to surpass Parthini's endorsement total.

Are there any rules for the race that we should know about?

Something like we can't withdraw our endorsements to make it so Parthini has fewer...or something like that. This race seems like it will be run a lot differently than the Senate race.

This race is indeed different from the Senate races. Pulling your endorsement of Parthini shouldn't happen until the final nations start getting close to reaching his 100 (around the 65-70 endorsment mark).

My mom just stared at me at first. Then I could see her eyes starting to tear up, then she just burried her face in her hands.

"Oh my God, Mark. Oh my God. I thought you were smarter than that! She's such a good girl! You've ruined your lives" Blah blah blah. I felt so bad...

She grounded me when she found out it was a joke. Then she told my dad and I heard him laughing for quite a while. Then she started, came to me and said I'm not grounded, and to never do that again.

It woulda been funnier if my girlfriend's parents would let us be together, cuz I KNOW my mom woulda called them into it too!
