Seorabeol, officially the Unification of Seorabeol-Silla Republic, is a sovereign state located in the Korean Peninsula. The name "Seorabeol" is derived from Saro, the capital city of Silla, located in Gyeongju. Seorabeol lies in the north temperate zone with a predominantly mountainous terrain. It covers a total area of 219,932 square kilometers and has a population of 15 million. The capital and largest city is Seoul, with a population of 9.8 million.
Archaeology indicates that the Korean Peninsula was occupied by the Lower Paleolithic period (2.6 Ma–300 Ka). Seorabeol history begins with the founding of Gojoseon in 2333 BC by the legendary Dan-gun. Following the unification of the Three Kingdoms of Korea under Silla 668 AD, King Muyeol, also known as Kim Choon-Chu, renamed Silla as Unified Silla, becoming the Founder of the Unified Silla. In year 762, King Hyejong, an illegitimate son between King Gyeongdok and a commoner, caused a silent coup d'etat against his own father, revolting against the succession of King Hyegong, who was thought to be effeminate.
Thus came the founding of Unified Seorabeol-Silla Republic by King Hyejong, naming the nation as Seorabeol. U.S.S.R.(Unification of Seorabeol-Silla Republic) or Seorabeol would last even to this day. It has been founded on 57 BC.
