Yes, the time has come and post-season has arrived. During the regular season we saw 18 teams competing against each other. The top eight teams of those have now qualified for the Playoffs. Playoffs will be held in three rounds (Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, Finals). The winner of the finals will be German Basketball Champion 2015.

Each round pits two teams each against each other in a best-of-five series. The teams will play three to five games. The first team to win three games moves to the next round (or wins the competition in case of the finals). That means the possible outcomes of a series are 3:2, 3:1, 3:0, 0:3, 1:3 or 2:3.

The games are very frequent, so we will not bet on every single game. Instead, we will bet on the exact outcome of a series. So, e.g. for the Quarter Finals between Bonn and Ulm you can bet on 3:2, 3:1, 3:0, 0:3 .... you catch the drift, right?

To make it even more insanely interesting, the stakes will increase with each round:
Quarter Finals: 1,000 per series
Semi Finals: 5,000 per series
Finals: 20,000 per series

This is an all or nothing game! You will only win something, if you have bet on the correct outcome of the series (e.g. 3:2). If no one bets correctly on a series, the money will go into the jackpot. You can only win the jackpot when you bet correctly on all games of a given round (all 4 Quarter Finals, all 2 Semi Finals or the Finals). Clear? I hope so. If there's money left in the jackpot after the finals, we here at Lou Chance Gambling Enterprise will invest it and use it to stack up the jackpots for the next season.

The exact match-ups will be determined tonight when ALBA BERLIN and Brose Baskets will play for first place of the regular season.

Wow! What a weekend!

Bonn and Ulm both lose at home and the FRAPORT SKYLINERS are in the lead in Munich's Audi Dome until the 4th quarter.
But most surprisingly, the EWE Baskets pretty much domninated ALBA before they lose their nerves 3.5 minutes before the end of the game.
With 24 seconds left on the clock is at 90:90. Then everything goes wrong for the cup winners and Berlin wins 95:90.
