Nicholas Egner, ambassador to the USSCR for the Kingdom of Auileria, stepped into the building that housed the Central Ruskan Department of Foreign Affairs. Ruskan architecture, he had found in his relatively short stay so far, was bleaker and more utalitarian than what he was used to of his home of Altbruk. It gave him a sense of intimidation that it took some effort to suppress.
The meeting had been requested by his embassy the day before. His identity only needed to be verified to let him through. He arrived a short while later at the office where he was expected and presented himself to the secretary whose desk was well-placed to intercept any visitors before they could be let in. When prompted to, he stepped inside.
(OOC: am going to leave it up to you who he's meeting with exactly)

Timofei had spent most of the day typing emails and answering phone calls, a meeting was exactly what he needed to break from the monotony of a Tuesday lunchtime. He was gathering the required information that he needed when a buzz came from his intercom. "Sir, Nicholas Egner is here for you, shall I send him in?." Kazimir's voice came over the intercom on Timofei's desk. Timofei pausing briefly to grab his notepad and a pen, before he reached over, and pressed the intercom button. "Thank you Kazimir, please send him in." he replied, rising from his desk, brushing the crumbs from his lunch off of his suit. As the door opened, he turned to face Nicholas, extending his hand. "Ah, good afternoon Mr. Egner, I hope you are well today. How are you adjusting of Central Ruska? Can I offer you a drink?" He questioned, smiling at Nicholas.

Timofei leaned over his desk, pushing the intercom button. "Kazimir, could you get us a tea for Mr. Egner and I'll take a coffee, Thanks." he said, moving around the desk. As he sat down, he spoke once more. "Please, sit. I'll tell you one place you must visit. The Chernyshevka Kremlin, quite the sight. I recommend that you get a tour of the buildings. So, how about we get down to business. I believe that you are here to discuss the purchasing of 6 ships. Err..." He paused, looking around his desk for some paperwork. "Ah, here it is. Yes, Auileria is interested in purchasing one Moskva class helicopter carrier, and five Neustrashimyy class frigates, is that correct?" he asked.

"I'll have to look into that, thank you for the tip."
"That is correct. With the new Miras Liberation Army threat his majesty has taken a new interest in securing our national waters. We heard you are scrapping the Neustrashimyy frigates and the Moskva." He had practiced on pronouncing the names right.

Timofei chuckled, "Yes, we've heard the same about the MLA. We have confidence in Miras to solve the problem. Now, how much does your country know about these types of ships?"
"Between you and me, Mr. Volkov, I hope Mira's is up to the task of rooting out these butchers. My government is nervous."
"But back to the matter at hand. We have experience with equivalent weapon systems that the Neustrashimyy uses. Our Windfires are of a similar size and build. The Moskva will be new to our navy, but we have confidence that with our experience with helicopter operation from frigates we will be quick learners."

"Well, the Moskva class would normally take 18 Ka-25 helicopters, or the more larger Mi-8s ones. So you'd probably be able to field some of the Surdran build MH-6 little birds. One of the classes primary uses back when she was active was anti-submarine warfare. However, I'm sure that you'd be able to outfit her for anti-ship and supply based situations."

"Ah, the NH-90. Forgive me, my military knowledge isn't what it used to be. But I believe that the NH-90 is slightly smaller than the Mi-8 helicopter. You'll have no trouble outfitting the Moskva with them."
"Excellent. Our navy and air force are already familiar with that vehicle so using them will make things a lot easier in the short run." He had been informed of some plans for a longer-term renovation of the Auilerian Royal Navy, but the Foreign Minister of Central Ruska didn't need to hear that.
"I believe we plan to rechristen the ships once they are transferred to us. There's no objection to that, I hope?"

"No, we don't have any issues to you rechristening the ships, after all, once they leave our national waters, the ships are fully yours. In the cases where we have sent older ships out to Atovatski Pact nations, they've been known to rechristen them."
