Welcome to the “Minecraft Master Builders Fair”!

All of the Master Builders of Minecraft have been called upon to display their substantial building skills by entering a contest to construct something of their own choosing which fully demonstrates and befits Minecraft’s extraordinarily talented citizens.

One winner of this competition will take away 100,000 Tacos, courtesy of the Taco Island Mayor Aersoldorf.

Another 100,000 Tacos will be awarded to one or more other builders, courtesy of The XKI Casino.

Here’s how you enter and play:

* Between now and 11:00 pm on Thursday night (Eastern Time USA), May 19th, you must post an image and/or description of an item you have constructed. For example, you could post a picture of a hotel, submarine, bridge, etc. Let your imagination run rampant. Again, post an image OR a written description, OR BOTH, of what you have built.

* In the same post, select an “Entry Number” of your own choosing from #0-#9. You must select an Entry Number that has not been taken by another Master Builder in a previous post, unless all the numbers have been taken, in which case you can duplicate someone else’s number. I will update the Entry Numbers at the bottom of this post as they are chosen.

SUMMARY: Just post a picture and/or description of the object you’ve built, along with a number from 0 to 9 that hasn’t already been posted by someone else (unless they've all been taken, then you can duplicate).



Prizes:

* The first 100,000 Taco winner(s) will be selected by a panel of impartial judges at the North Carolina Lottery Commission. The winner will be the patron whose chosen Entry Number matches the first number drawn in the North Carolina “Pick 3” game this Thursday evening….For example, if the numbers drawn are “3-0-2”, whoever had Entry Number 3 shall receive the 100,000 Taco Grand Prize. If more than one Master Builder wins, the XKI Casino shall pay all winners in addition to the one paid off by The Mayor….If no one wins Thursday night, we will use the next evenings’ drawings until someone does win.

* The second 100,000 Tacos will be given away at the sole discretion of Casino Manager Barry . It may be divided among several patrons, based upon something to do with the images and/or descriptions in your posts, or it may not. It all kind of depends on how I feel.

For my project, and in keeping with the spirit and tipsy conditions that hatched this game’s idea in The Mayor’s head, I’ve chosen to build a Robotic (Fembot) Bartender. Expertly designed to dispense the perfect bourbon, beer, umbrella drink, soda pop, or other beverage of one’s choosing, my creation is capable of performing countless hours of satisfactory service to our valued Casino patrons in Aeroldorf’s Lounge.

Barry, I think it should be limited to Vanilla MC because not all platforms support mods/textures.

This, along with the rest of the discussion, is TOTALLY Greek to me. Why, heck!, I don't even know the difference between a "Minecraft" and a "Spacecraft", let alone what a "player-made texture pack" is. After all, I'm just a simple butler trying to find my way is this technologically confusing world.    Bottom line, bring the best you got with whatever you have.

And, trust me. Even though I entered a build in this contest, that doesn't mean I'm going to win or even get some kind of prize for it *cough*. But I'd be surprised if I didn't win did.

I won *cough*. However, it doesn’t seem quite right that I donated the 100,000 Big Ones to the Casino for this portion of the contest, only to win it back….So, I’ve disqualified myself, and we’ll draw again tonight….Besides, there is the problem of a nasty little investigation going on.....

* HUMUNGOUSLY IMPORTANT PRESS RELEASE *

XKI CASINO – It has come to the attention of our affiliated crime bosses casinos in both Monaco and Las Vegas that our Casino Manager, Barry , supposedly “won” the 100,000 Taco Door Prize portion of the Minecraft Master Builders Fair last night. We are also aware that questions have arisen over whether Mr. Ater Nox previously attempted to bribe our manager to “win” the very same prize the night before. Furthermore, it is noted that Mr. Nox has today received 11,700+ Tacos in the Casino’s Guaranteed Win Game.

These facts raise the question of whether all of the above is mere coincidence? We think not.

Accordingly, pending the results of a formal internal investigation we are taking the following measures:

• Barry’s winning of the Minecraft Door Prize is hereby declared NULL AND VOID.

• Another Door Prize drawing will be held tonight among the remaining 5 contestants.

• However, at this time Mr. Ater Nox may remain qualified to participate in the Door Prize portion of this contest tonight and retain his kickback winnings from the Lottery’s ‘Big Draw’ game. Please be assured that his position as Captain of the Taco Island Police Department played a big no part in this determination. It would be a waste of all the protection money we’ve laid out to the cops shameful miscarriage of justice to immediately rush to judgment against such a corrupt highly regarded public official.

Finally, we wish all 5 of the remaining contestants the Best of Luck! in tonight’s Door Prize drawing, as well as in the completion of their Master Builders projects by tomorrow night.

I just want to come out in support of Barry and announce that I can confirm that there was no foul play at hand. The Taco Island Police Department has formally investigated the random number generating machine used to determine the winner for this prize. We can confirm that Barry did in fact randomly select himself to win the prize, and thus set the machine to pick his own number as the winner.

The fact that I, the police captain currently in charge of reviewing the casino for corruption, won a seperate lottery at the same time as Barry won the jackpot just goes to prove that there is no foul play. The odds of these events happening at the same time are extremely low, and thus only a very, very random set of lottery numbers could have produced such a result. If Barry had rigged the lotteries in any way, than this outcome would not have been random and therefore impossible.

I will be submitting a formal recommendation to the casinos internal review committiees that Barry's winning of this prize by reinstated. Additionally, any attempt to deny Barry from recieving any large sums of tacos in the next month will be seen as a crime, and the guilty parties will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Should I recieve another large lottery win in the next drawing, that time frame will be extended by another month.
