Good evening all!

I'm issuing a challenge to all the parties: by January first of the new year (in the central time zone of North America), the parties that recruit the most members in that amount of time will receive 2 accreidtations for first place, one for second, and no more after that.

May the odds be ever in your favor!

Then I'll be very sad, and have to try and hunt the numbers myself, and I may get an inaccurate count

Let me ask another way: Why weekly? This thing runs for two months, what good would the overhead of weekly reports possibly do?

Idk, I figured people would already be counting and I'd be interested to know how it was going in each party during the competition, so I guess for my own personal interest?

It's not mandatory, just something for me to read over and consider during the competition

Yeah, I'm not doing that amount of paperwork to indulge your personal interest and I strongly suspect Paff won't do that either.

That's fine, that's why the language said "you can" as opposed to "you must"

Just to be clear to all the parties:

This is not about filing reports or burying yourselves in paperwork, this is about being proud to have played a part in and influenced the XKI political party landscape in a great way! Let me reiterate: you are, by no means, required to submit to me any numbers other than your final count on January first, 2017 (central North American time).

You are also definitely not discouraged from reporting numbers to me, on any time line or basis, if your party has hit a number that you are proud of. Because in the end, that's what this is about; pride in your party system, and pride in your region!

not yet, but I've opted to extend this a few more weeks anyway to make sure people are actually recruiting.
