I don't get on these forms very often, and hadn't realized that I'd been marked as "ceased to exist" sometime since the last election. I'm very much alive and in existence! I have never left 10000 Islands at any time. I can see quite a bit of the forum, but cannot access the political races or voting page. How do I get it acknowledged that I'm a member so that I can vote for the WA delegate?

I'm having the same problem. My nation is alive and well, thank you, and I'm a WA member who has endorsed the current delegate. It's pretty annoying to come to vote and find out my voting rights have been arbitrarily revoked.

Perhaps the misunderstanding is because I don't come here much? I mostly swing by to vote in elections.
I have found myself avoiding the forums since we went to ProBoards. The block of member information on the left-hand side is so long that only one or two posts are visible on my screen at a time, even if they are only brief comments. I've never liked forums that are mostly blank space and require a lot of clicking and scrolling to read. It's partly personal preference, but also partly because I sometimes suffer from tendinitis and the mouse wheel can get uncomfortable. I searched for user settings that might suppress the big block of member information and make better use of screen real estate but I've come up empty.

Hi! I have updated your masking issue. Apologies for the inconvience. I csn only advise that you try to log in a bit more to prevent this happening in the future.
In regards to the forum display issues, what browser are you using? I have found that some work better than others. If changing browser doesnt help I will contact Grub and look into it further for you. Please get in touch with any other information you have and I will try to help sort it out.

Markanite , as far as forum activity, nothing in our constitution says voting rights are tied to the frequency of offsite forum participation. If I'm in the WA and expected to endorse the delegate, it only seems reasonable that I would have voting rights.
As far as browsers, I use an up to date version of Google Chrome. My browser window looks like this: postimg.org/image/vsm5ly2un/

Ah I see what you mean now, unfortunately I don't believe there is a way of reducing the member's information on the left. Sorry I couldn't be more help with this forum issue.
In regards to the masking issue, I'm glad this is sorted now and hopefully this won't happen again.

Well, sadly the 90% blank screen is pretty much a deal-breaker for me as far as frequent participation in the forums. It's a very, very high hand pain-to-reward ratio.
