It's a brand new year - 2019 - and time us to acknowledge and honor the contributions of 10000 Islanders who have contributed to the Islands this last year, and in fact, over their entire time in the Islands.
First up, I would like to award Louisistan with the 10000 Islands Distinguished Service Medal.
The 10000 Islands Distinguished Service Medal is awarded for long-term continued actions of outstanding leadership to TITO or 10000 Islands.
Louis, it is with great pleasure that I pin this medal on you...oops, look at all the blood. I guess that pin must be pretty sharp. Nonetheless, you have earned this by virtue of your excellent service and presence here in the Islands over the entire time you've been here. Great job!
Second, I would like to award Klopstock with his own 10000 Islands Distinguished Service Medal. Klopstock has earned this medal by virtue of his stint as Field Commander of TITO as well as an ongoing presence, confirming new nations, and being a generally great Islander in so many ways. Klop, it is with great pleasure I pin this medal on you...hey, quit squirming, it will only hurt for a minute and judging from Louis' example, the bleeding will stop shortly. Regardless, it is my pleasure to award you this honor. Thank you for all you do here!
Third, I would like to award United Royal Islands the Commendation Medal for her development work in the Regional Reserve and on the C09.
The Commendation Medal is awarded for exemplary services and achievements which have raised the quality of life in 10000 Islands as a whole.
URI, it is with great pleasure that I award you this honor. Congratulations and thanks for your fine work!
Fourth, I would like to award Ater Nox the Commendation Medal for his great service as Mayor of our very own Taco Island. Ater is one of the most honestly corrupt nations I've had the pleasure of meeting, and his presence here certainly adds to our fine region!
Ater, it is with great pleasure I pin this medal on you...hey, quit running away! I can do this - third time's the charm, right? OK, well, you can come pick it up later. Chicken!
Please join me in congratulating these fine Islanders on their well-deserved awards!
