Greetings fellow islanders! 
I am here to announce my run for the seat of Blue Canaria North senator. 

So you may be wondering why you should vote for a newbie who only joined the islands last July, that's a valid question. 

Here's a list of reasons I compiled:

-In the past month, I have tried my best to participate in most activities I could participate in.

-I regularly participate in TITO,at least 4 days a week, and I applied for TITO as soon as I was able to.

-I have previous NS experience of over a year including an authored GA resolution.

-I will hopefully be an active participant in the co9 and will try to propose legislation. 

-I regularly play games and post in threads in Taco Island.

This is all I've got for now, good luck for other candidates and let the elections commence!

You are running for the BCN seat, which is responsible for the Emissary Report.
In your opinion:
* What is the purpose of the Emissary Report?
* Does the Emissary Report as it stands serve that purpose?
* What improvements, if any, would you make to the Report?
* Will you be able to meet the deadline throughout your term?

In my opinion, the emissary report is a great method of informing our allies regions of updates of crying within our region, it serves the purpose of a newspaper/magazine, but more to the point and straightforward.

Yes, I think it does.

* What improvements, if any, would you make to the Report?

I have one change to make, albeit pretty small. I think that we should divide up the news into subheadings for better readability
* Will you be able to meet the deadline throughout your term?
Yes

1. For, I believe LAU has been defeated and there is no reason to continue the war
2. For, the additions to minister of education are great improvements and I hope they will increase activity
3. For, the current discord is pretty active and is a great method of communication.

Are there any issues beyond the BCN portfolio which you plan on bringing up in the Council?

I have another question which only occured to me yesterday evening:
Reading through the most recently released council debates I was unsettled (to say the least) by the confrontational tone and andversarial stance displayed by members of the Council. I recognise that we've had some difficult time this year and I regret having played a role in that, but I believe we can and we should be able to disagree with each other respectfully in this region. I especially believe that council members should collaborate in a collegial manner and not get entrenched in ideological or inter-personal conflict.

Do you agree with that? And will you try to approach council discussions with that in mind?
To put it another way: If you are elected and the council debates are published three months from now: Will I be reassured by your contributions to the council or is there a risk I will fill similarly ill at ease to the last time?

I agree with your stance. Debating should not be about attacking your opponents or trying to polarise them. I believe in pragmatism (when necessary) and the ability to achieve compromises. I will ensure that people I debate in the Council will not be upset with my responses and not give them a hard or unsettling time in the Council.
