Firstly, welcome to 10000 Islands, make yourself at home!

This is your guide to the 10000 Islands & TITO Welcome Center, below I'll detail the first steps you need to complete before you dive right into our amazing forum!

1. Get your account confirmed

On our forum you must register using your nation’s name and then follow the steps in this thread to confirm your account.

To do this you must:
- Post in the thread linked above, answering the question and providing the link to your nation
- A member of the Welcome team will contact you to confirm your account
- You will then be masked accordingly on the forum and will have access to a range of areas depending on whether you are a World Assembly nation or not.

2. Read our constitution: We are priveleged here in 10000 Islands to have our very own constitution. This document outlines key ways in which 10000 Islands is governed and it is immensely important to read it!

3. Browse the information center: We have assembled a quick "Newcomer's Survival Guide to the 10000 Islands" in the Information Center. You can learn about NationStates, our region, and the many ways to get involved here by reading this. Click here to access the Information Bureau!

4. Join TITO: We hope you will consider joining TITO, one of the strongest defender groups in NS. You must be a WA nation to do so, and you should check out the TITO thread on this board for further information.

5. Endorse our Delegate: We encourage you to join the WA and endorse our WA Delegate. This makes the whole region stronger and more difficult for intruders to invade or destabilize.

6: Visit Taco Island: Taco Island is the spam center of 10000 Islands. Make yourself at home, post in Taco Island and other threads, make more tacos, and join in the fun! This is a great way to meet your fellow Islanders!

7. Get some awards: Get your awards! We have an amazing array of awards. Get involved and get your awards!

8. Join a house: Houses are simply groups of nations recruited by the House founder and other House members (with a few exceptions explained below). They are a fun way to converse with other people and socialize with other members of the forum. Joining a House also shows your appreciation for the fantastic recruiters and welcome-message senders we have in the Islands.

9. Political Parties: As a region we have some active political parties. These groups actively lobby and support people running for regional office. These are amazing ways to meet others and get involved in the community.

10. Roleplay area: We have an active area of the forum, specifically for roleplay. Develop your nation, it's ideals and it's processes. Interact with others and engage in diplomacy!
