Just wanted to talk about music, instruments, or concerts with other people on the forum that are also interested in that kind of stuff, but anyone can join in.
I think most genres are pretty cool, but I know a sizable amount of stuff on classic rock and I'm pretty much an expert (I think) on heavy metal, so I can probably spill some of my knowledge here. I also play drums and guitar, if that interests anyone.

Nice
Power Metal is pretty cool, especially bands like Manowar, Helloween, and Queensryche.
Classical Music is also pretty good, my favorite piece is probably The Planets by Gustav Holst, but I also like the soundtrack of A Clockwork Orange, which is all classical.

I listen to rock and roll, jazz, classical, a little country (old country, not the poprock with a twang that currently permeates the airwaves). I play guitar and sing with a rock band (www.beachstagogo.com), also bass, and have been known to dabble with banjo, mandolin, and keys. So... Throckland, let's jam!

Jabberwocky, that's pretty cool! I wish I could sing, but I can unfortunately only do death metal growls. (I basically sound like this but a little bit worse) Also, jamming someday would be pretty cool, exchanging musical ideas and all that stuff.
Do you record at all? I've done numerous online collaborations.

Not really, but I do have Audacity on my laptop and can record from there! Recording my drumming would be pretty cool, but I don't have the money and I'm fixing up my dad's 30-year-old drum set.

Audacity looks a lot like what I use, Sonar and M-Audio. But miking drums is a technique unto itself.
