As part of the Summer Olympics event, we will be doing a whole-month prolific posting contest.
Each Summer Olympics participant will be automatically entered into the Prolific Posting Contest if they have a forum account. At midnight on June 1, Olympics Directors will record the post counts of every Summer Olympics participant in a spreadsheet. At midnight on June 30, Olympics Directors will again record the post counts of every Summer Olympics participant. Participants' final ranking will be determined by the difference in post counts.
The winner will receive 40 points for their team. The runner up will receive 20 points for their team, 3rd place will receive 10 points, and 4th and 5th place will each receive 5 points. As a result of this structure, one team could earn multiple of the top 5 prizes and build up a significant lead in the event. The winner of the event will also receive a randomly selected Legendary NS Trading Card and each of 2nd through 5th will receive an epic NS Trading Card.
If a participant enters the competition late (e.g. someone signs up midway through June, which is permitted), then they are still entered in the competition, although by forfeiting part of the month to post they are at a significant disadvantage.
