The HW election has concluded!

I'd like to thank everyone who ran for the two senate seats. We had an amazing number of voters and that is due, in no small part, to the dedicated, dilligent and enthusiastic islanders we had running for office.

Congratulations to Wille-Harlia who has been elected to Himes West.

As no candidate has been successful in gaining 50% of the Lyonnesse East vote, a run off will be declared later today.

Commisserations to all the other candidates but well done for running such great campaigns!

Special thank you to United Royal Islands and Marxist Germany for their service as senators!

Congrats to Thedairos and incredibly well done to both you and Free Las Pinas, either of whom would make an excellent senator. And for all the fuss I sometimes raise, I want to take a moment and commend Markanite and the Council for navigating a once-in-a-decade electoral situation both transparently and by the letter of the law.

And congrats to Control, whom I believe is now promoted to Senior Senator.

Congrats Thedairos! In a battle as long and onerous as this one, your victory really highlights how amazing you'd do at the job, and I knew I'd be glad at either result of Co9 voting. I hope all those who supported me in this election would join in congratulating you and offering their support.
