Can you specify which post this was? Doesn't seem much of a reason to vote for someone. You're basically saying because I posted I'm worthy of being lynched. The same could apply for the majority of players here!

That said, yesterday's phase I felt Echo was the most likely out of anyone. I've still not seen a compelling argument made by Echo to support they are a good guy. As such:

Considering there were 17 players in that game, the chances of all 3 of us randomly selecting him together are extremely slim, beyond consideration. However we all did exactly that, and if we ran the game 100 times on a simulation, I bet all three of us would pick him again all together first in 99 of the games. Why? Because we all know he is an esteemed veteran of the game. There's a massive human element to this game that goes beyond statistics.

Again, this is not all disregarding Palman. Everything Palman said is objectively true: the chances they were an inactive player are higher than all the other chances. Doesn't mean we should disregard the work being done by the dolphin and turtle - who can give us valuable insights - and may actually be saving our butts right now.

As for your earlier point, my point is complete hearsay until we unmask the shark. I just simply refuse to think that the person with the main and biggest baddie role was inactive for two turns in a row, and was replaced by another player for inactivity. Usually people go inactive because they received no role or a relatively minor role. I mean, he could still be a baddie, but the main arguement being made was that the shark was the inactive person (since no one was killed twice). Since I don't think the the shark was inactive, the chances of Palman being a baddie are slimmer than a goodie. However, as I said, this can't be verified until we unmask the shark, and so this is instead my own personal belief. Take it for what you will.

As for the actual lynchings at hand, I'm not enthusiastic about lynching one more than the other (well, the two main votes emerging). I don't think Echo did a good job dispelling any of the charges against him, and don't think Sauron properly addressed the charges against himself ither. It might as well be a coin flip decision for me. I could just follow the herd and vote Echo, but because Wisch thinks Palman and I are now attached at the hip,  I'm gonna vote the opposite way!

Palman also seem offended on a personal level when SweetHaven questioned why Marg and Inquista were not being called out like she was.

While Control made a vote via randomizer yesterday, which is likely an attempt to avoid responsibility.

Just to be complete, I updated the above. You left off my vote.

I'm not sure limiting our scope to those who failed to vote against Echo is wise. Some of the people who voted later on that bandwagon might have been allies of hers who saw the tide going a certain way and were hoping to later use "I attacked Echo, didn't I?" as a defense. I'd have to read back through yesterday's posts, arguments and timestamps to decide which echo voters deserve more or less slack. For now I will leave it at "we shouldn't write them off wholesale".

Musketoon, can you tell us why you pointed attention to Markanite, Inquista, Control and Margaux for not voting for Echo, but Willie-Harlia? Do you think there was something mitigating in yesterday's discussion?

Oh nice! As I said in my last post, I didn't have particular preference of Sauron over Echolilia or vice versa (it was between either of those two for me), and I've defended my viewpoint on Palman now ad nauseam, so I wasn't going to vote for him.

However, the dolphin was pretty insistent at the top of page 4 that lynching Palman was a bad idea, while I found Mark's argument to lynch Sauron really weak. Since Inquista also joined in on said argument, I think those 2 are the most sus.

This is a bit strange. Why would the dolphin visit someone he thought was a bad guy? The dolphin would end up dying in that scenario. Musketoon almost certainly wanted visit someone he thought would keep himself safe. He certainly didn't visit me, I can tell you that much, so I didn't kill him if that's what you are insinuating.

What's the conclusion going to be? The rest of us not in the majority vote were the baddies? Then why were the votes split so many different ways in such tiny numbers? I'm willing to bet pretty much all of the baddies voted to lynch Echo (except maybe one - of which, they may have no-voted), and that their votes came in later than the early voters. It's also worth tying this into the fact that Musketoon died after trying to swim safely home with someone, who has disguised their position rather well.

I'm not faulting Sauron for lynching me, since I lynched him last turn. I respect Sauron's vote.

Someone that is worth talking about is Control. He attempted to lynch me literally 6 hours into the first day because I was "inactive" (despite that I wan't, and I called him out on this immediately), then proceeded to disappear from the game. When the votes starting falling on Echo - a baddie - it probably became clear to the rest of the baddies that they couldn't save him because Control or someone else weren't going to be present to vote, and so they simply just voted for the majority to disguise themselves.

Anyway, I want to see what others have to say before I throw my vote down.

I assumed you were talking about the charge Mark put against Sauron as one part of your justification for your vote, but if not, which charge were you referring to?

In my reasoning I pointed to both Echo's and Sauron's defences against their charges as being rather poor, which is what made me suspicious of them. I just felt like Sauron didn't try to defend himself, and then Sauron then went on to tell me that he wasn't sure how he could defend himself, and I feel like he didn't try to produce any further topics or information for discussion. Although it's once again worth emntioning I was also fine with Echo going, and he was obviously the right choice to be lynched in the end, as he ended up being the octopus.

I failed to make this point earlier, but I practically died on the hill defending Palman's position as the non-shark, and Echo seemed to push for this theory and voted against Palman. This is both another reason why I think Palman is not a baddie, and why it's ridiculous to group me as a non-Echo lyncher with the baddies. Not sure why I would sabotage my own team mate's point - and practically sacrifice my own game by makimg myself "sus" in order to make that point - on Day 1. I'd literally have to be the most self-sabotaging and annoying teammate to have done that.

One point I do agree with Mark on, however - and this is not about Sauron, but just generally - is that there are a lot of players just saying things for the sake of just saying things, and a lot of people are not producing theories or any insights of their own. There's also a lot of quiet people. I feel as if there's only 4 of us truly throwing theories and possibilities around and the rest are either just essentially retweeting whatever is being said, making blanket statements, or saying nothing, and this is precisely where the bad guys are hiding. As I've played the devil's advocate on a few theories now, I've obviously become "sus", but only because I'm trying to actually discuss the non-obvious possibilities because we need to discuss all the options. Then, rather easily, I also feel like things are pinned onto me by others who are not contributing to the discussion. I find this incredibly frustrating because I'm trying to move the needle forward and actually contribute to our victory.

I mean, if we're going to bet and risk on Control not showing up again in the next 20 hours so he gets mod-killed, then I suppose we shouldn't lynch him. Although he's already gotten a warning ping now. If he returns and he's a bad guy, then I'm not responsible for whatever mess that makes.

No, I used a randomizer on the entire player list. WW is terribly difficult to play if people simply don't read what you say. At least Echo had the decency to call it a bad method instead of deciding I'm lynching for a particular reason.

However, I'm now increasingly suspicious of you as you're slinging accusation all over the place, denying your own past reasoning, changing your tune when confronted, and calling out actually proper ways to identify baddies but not pursuing them yourself (the bandwagoners). You say you didn't agree with Mark's reasoning when you in fact did call it out and now say you agree with it. You're waving all over the place while also accusing others of not contributing to the discussion -- endless smokescreens are just as bad and just as useful for werewolves.

Sweet, Wisch, Tas, and FE all piled on after the Echo bandwagon started. They can't all be baddies as there are only 3 left (and also bandwagoning is not proof of lycanthropy on its own), but it would be worth checking their post histories for clues. For example, Tas has only posted 4 times which might square with an inactive Shark. Given Sweet's terse posts, I'm inclined to think their bandwagon is legit as even their self-defenses don't have a lot of content.

I have not looked at Wish or FE's yet but my computer is getting very warm so I may check back in in a couple hours.

I'm not sure how I'm slinging accusations over the place. I named you, so I can see why you wouldn't like that, but I really haven't named that many names in this game. Many have certainly thrown out my name and others in single sentences, just planting me and others as targets, and then quietly leaving the discussion. I've certainly been really defensive - I've had to fight to defend myself since hour 6 of Day 1 - and I have no allies to back me up. I also feel, if anything, I just keep digging my heels further and further on each point, and so I'm far from changing my tune when confronted. I'm beating the drums of the same points I've made earlier.

What past reasoning am I denying though? I'm more than happy to discuss specifics if you can name them. I wasn't denying my reasoning for voting Sauron, I've given the exact same explanation as before. My posts are literally public, you can check them as you catch up in the game. Go to my vote to lynch post. My reasoning is the exact same. I simply just didn't like how FE characterized it, and in fairness to FE, I'm not even sure he meant to characterize it that way either. I just wanted to clarify what FE said.

To do it one more time and lay it to rest: I voted for Sauron because of his non-defence, and he didn't counter Mark's statements by then offering anything up. I was also fine with Echo going. Not Palman. Hence my vote. Mark's actual charge against Sauron isn't what made me lynch him,because Mark's actual charge could be laid against many people (I agree with the point, but that's not why I lynched Sauron). It's the fact that Sauron didn't then try to defend or contribute, despite being called out, that made me suspicious.

I certainly do not think the exact last people to vote were all the baddies in that order. Just saying that's ordinary behaviour we see from the bad guys, and so they should be suspects like we all are.

I called Echo out on day one. Said they were acting suspicious and voted accordingly. Day 2 I voted for Echo.

You voted every early on when the vote was fairly even, jumping on a weak argument, possibly hoping to change the momentum of the bandwagon forming against Echo.

I've yet to find anything in your posts so far to compel me to change my vote. You've deflected and doubled down that I was suspicious. You've not countered any other points and you've insisted on bringing up several other players as equally suspicious and continuing to try to insist on my guilt. I might still be, but at least come up with a better argument than... he posts too much

Lot's to say, so let's see...

First off, the reason I voted so late is cause I need to sleep. I live in EDT and go to sleep about 14 hours into the day phase, too early to decide on a vote. 8 hours of sleep later, and I wake up 2 hours before the phase ends. This gives me time to go back and check for any developments before voting, but also means I'm one of the last people to vote. That's just my schedule, and there's nothing else to say about it.

Next, on Palman . I'm not too worried about him right now. Echo voted for Palman, and was the first one to vote. If Palman was also evil, this would've risked creating a bandwagon taking down Echo's teammate, which doesn't seem like a good strategy. Palman is also far too good a player to be so obvious as to kill someone who voted to lynch him.

Onto Inquista . To put it bluntly, I am very suspicious. They've done an awful lot of mud-slinging without much actual evidence of logic. Starting with the first (real) day phase, when they accused me of being "bullish" about lynching, "throwing multiple names out there", and "setting [them] up with no logic whatsoever. I already responded to these accusations here, and won't repeat them all again. You can also see my original logic here. Also interesting to note is that Inquista never actually responded to any of my statements, instead making accusations back.

And let's not forget that Inquista was inactive until after the first night phase, fitting the profile of the inactive shark. I don't know if Inquista was inactive on the forum as a whole, but they made only two posts the first day phase, and were then silent for the rest of the day and night phase, despite the above-linked post that I made. It's possible they were inactive again for the 2nd night phase, hence the lack of deaths. They've also consistently dismissed the importance of their and the shark's likely inactivity, here and here. More recently, they claimed not to have been inactive:

And yes, Inquista did make a post, but afterwards. That doesn't negate prior inactivity, which was my, not Control's original reasoning for calling them out. It's strange of Inquista to pretend that a quick response means they weren't inactive for the entire 1st night phase.

As Flying Eagles  pointed out earlier, Musketoon did indicate a suspicion of Inquista prior to dying, so it's not unreasonable to assume Musk went to visit Inquista. Death is plenty loud after all, and would be a good way for Musk to give us information. Logically from Musk's perspective, it's risky to visit suspicious players, but if Musk lives, then Musk knows they're good and can help deflect suspicion. If Musk dies, then it gives everyone else a good shot at guessing which of the few suspicious players is evil.

Overall, I've found Inquista to make many arguments without much reasoning and to consistently deflect attention onto others. Combined with the initial inactivity, I find it to be highly suspicious. 

As I said before, I don't like voting this early, but I'm sure y'all can see who I'm leaning towards lynching.
