I've been hearing a lot of news and rumors about how the daily update times are now at random times. I believe this would be a good thing for the defenders and a bad thing for the invaders. There are ups and downs to this. What do you think?
I have a sneaking suspicion it's meant to make raiders' lives harder. I've seen over time that the mod and admin staff have no love for raiders, with the raider tendency to use every possible loophole and sometimes flat out break the rules in a desperate search for an advantage to counteract the defender advantages of numbers and respect. I mean this literally; it often seems like the invader leaders are kept up at night by this problem.
I think the only disadvantage that defenders would have would be if they were planning a sudden defense then found out the update had already happened.
I think some of the invasion leaders don't get on till a half hour or so before the reset then start ejecting people. Random reset times would be fun, it'd keep them up longer and make them sweat!

Not the update times are random... the update order is!

The update time remains the same. It's the order of the update that is random. e.g. you can't always be sure that The Pacific will update after Lazarus.
