I cannot make any such claim as I only superficially follow UK politics. However, I have noted that in recent years they have usurped certain positions which one would usually have attributed to the Labour party. Now whether that makes them "left wing" or whether it's a strategic move to cater to labour's voter base, I cannot say.


Except they're clearly not left wing when seen as a whole.
