On social issues, I'd say I was more of a Republican sort of guy. However, when it comes to economics, I'm not exactly sure where I stand; sometimes I think I've made up my mind...then a campaign commercial pops up and I feel even more lost.
If I were in the states I'd vote Green, I think. I go in for a lot of tactical voting, so it would depend on the particular election.
I'd describe myself as a Libertarian Socialist with strong pacifist and pro-tech Green attitudes. It's not the sort of stance that gets elected much!
I reckon if I keep making the case, then people may at least think about it. Too many people seem to get their opinions undigested from the breakfast news.

If I could vote in the States I would vote green normally but in Minnesota where I live with my partner it is a swing state so I suppose I would have to bite my lip and vote Democrat, my partner who is a US citizen is still not sure but will not vote Republican so I guess it will be a Democrat vote for him if things look close.
I tend to be very moderate in my views, though I am a registered Republican. I personally think that a lot of US policy is driven too much by the extreme 'my position is right and only my position is right and there is no use listening to other people's ideas' mentallity. I believe that issues are complex and can't be solved by the simple answers of it is right or it is wrong.
