Hello all! This will be the start of my campaign center. Any speeches or promotional messages from my campaign will be posted once or twice on the regional message board (depending on importance) and then posted permanently here for all to see. Other than that, the floor is open to you, the nations of 10000 Islands! If you wish to ask me any questions about my campaign, go right ahead! And good luck to the other candidates!

My fellow nations,

I have been in this region since last November. And in that time I have worked alongside some wonderful nations. Grub, Parthini, Fleeb, A Lee Project, and most recently I have begun to enjoy Naoi's presence in the education department. I have worked alongside these dedicated nations and gradually gained experience from all of them.

I have gained experience from my ambassadorship. Thanks to Grub I was appointed ambassador to NationStates soon after the last delegate election. There I have learned how to interact with other regions, a quality that is very important to a delegate of such an important region as 10000 Islands.

I have gained experience from my time in the Education department. Serving as Assistant Minister of Education has shown me how important it is to interact with every nation of this region, to give everyone the attention they deserve. If I become delegate, I will make sure everyone's voice is heard.

From my 8 TITO missions, all of which I earned battle stars at, I have learned how an operation should be executed. I promise to help TITO to the fullest of my abilities in the fight against region crashers.

My friends, I come to you now as an experienced nation who is ready to try and give back to this region what I have been given over the last 5-6 months. If I become delegate, you won't be disappointed. Thank you.

The Boktavia Delagate Campaign would like to announce it's slogan:

"Vote Boktavia, vote experience."

Boktavia is experienced in lots of different aspects all over the region, so I feel this is a fitting slogan. Please, if anybody has any questions about my campaign, feel free to ask me in my campaing center on our offsite forum. Vote Boktavia, vote experience!

I have realized that I have never fully stated my views as to what I would do as delegate, as I was waiting for a debate thread to materialize, but I have decided to go ahead and do that now so the people can know exactly where I'm at.


The UN:
- Concerning UN proposals, I will do the same as Parthini has done, creating a poll here for every proposal before I vote so I can hear the people's opinion about the proposal
- I will make sure to, at least once a week, go through the list of current proposals and see what is out there. If I see one that I think I like, I will make a quick thread where I would post the proposal and express why I like it. Then it is up to the people to respond positively or negatively to my action. If the people don't seem to care for the proposal, I shall immediately withdraw my endorsement, but if they generally like it, my endorsement will stand.
-Finally, I will possibly be writing proposals of my own if I become delegate. If I do write any, I will submit it to the people and see what they think before I send it into the UN. As you can tell, I want to hear your opinion about everything in the UN!

TITO:
- I am in full support of the current TITO system. It works quickly and effectively, and the recent addition of the Coast Watchers is an excellent way to spy any invader activity that Grub or anyone else might have missed.

Fun in 10000 Islands:
- I just wanted to say that, even though I don't participate in them much, I love the fun threads that people like ALEN, Naoi and Mandrill are cooking up. I don't get into them myself much, but they can be great just to read every once in a while. Also, Alfonia's soccer league in the role playing forum is great, too. These kinds of activities allow us to add a lot to our culture.

Ambassadors:
- I think we need to extend our hands in friendship to more regions. There are many developing, friendly regions out there that could prove wonderful people to have as friends or allies! I would make sure to investigate into this matter further to see what we can do about this if I become delegate.

Immigration:
- No offence meant to Ad Infintium or everybody else in the Immigration Department, but I think we need a little push immigration-wise. We've been slowly decreasing in population for some time, and I think it's time we turned that around. Of course, a lot of this population decrease is due to all of the nations that have been dying (sp?) recently, but I still think we could get our population back up in no time.

Finally, I want to be able to communicate one-on-one with everybody in 10000 Islands as much as possible. If I become delegate, don't be shy to telegram me about anything, whether it is about a UN proposal or just saying hi! I've already talked about my experience, so I won't get into that again. Vote Boktavia, vote experience!

I fully endorse Boktavia. He has proved himself to me as a very diligent and dedicated deputy minister of Education. His persistence in that duty will have taught him well the skills needed to serve as Delegate, where alertness to the demands of voting on UN issues, defending the region and managing the boards when spammers invade are some of the key duties. He will help lead to the reconstruction and advance that 10000 Islands needs.

This is somewhat of a repost, but I thought it important to add to Boktavia's official Campaign Center:

After withdrawing my candidacy for the UN Delegacy, Jesioneka completely supports Boktavia's run for delegate. My supporters, if they haven't already, should soon be moving their endorsements to your camp. Those who would've endorsed me otherwise are also encouraged to endorse Boktavia. We feel he is the most qualified and able candidate remaining to become the next delegate.

I want to say (in case I haven't already) that the Federation of Odracir fully supports a fellow party member in Boktavia. To all you people that believe in "insiders" and a mass conspiracy to fix all elections in the region, this is another reason that Boktavia is winning. He is a member of the ACN and has full party support.

Henneth annun, I'm interested by the OEE, but would like a little more information about what it does specifically, if you could. Does the OEE have an offsite forum at the moment? If I joined, would it basically be a discussion over issues and proposals? I'm intrigued so far, but I'm not sure if I want to give my full backing. Just send me a little more about it and I'll decide. Thank you, you've given me a possible plank in my platform that I had not thought about.

All right, henneth annun. The OEE seems like a good way to for nations to get involved in discussing proposals and issues. I will join and give my full support of it.

This desicion is rather hard to make. Really, really hard to make actually.

After intense consideration, I've come to a harsh conclusion.

I want everyone to know that this desicion is not quitting on any of you, but it is in the best interest of all the freedom loving regions of NationStates, at least in my opinion.

I feel as though being the Delegate would hinder my abilities of helping regions in need. I would not be able to participate in TITO missions, and that is the very element that has made my passion and love for this region flare.

I am pulling myself out of the race for delegate. This is not because of a lack of support, because I've seen spoken support for me quite frequently, and I appreciate that even now! I do, however, plan on running in next months Senate elections. Also, Parthini is kind of needing to get out of the delegate thing.

Remember that I do this with the love of freedom and it's protection in my heart. So, that being said, everybody should proudly endorse your new Delegate, Boktavia!

Congratulations, Boktavia! Show us all that our faith has been justly placed upon you!

Let's hurry up and give Parthini a break lol. Let's all endorse Boktavia!
