Congratulations to New Parthini who at the time of my resignation (10:54 PST 12-26-03) had the second highest endorsement rating, as the new delegate of 10000 Islands. My best wishes to him and the UN members of our region in proceding with world affairs.
In my time in 10000 Islands I have seen a region grow from barely 60 nations to nearly 400 nations. We also maintained the highest endorsement levels in a created region in nationstates. The government of 10000 Islands has grown stronger and more complex, but it has many fine tuned and wise minds at its helm.
TITO is no longer a defense initiative with a few nations but a battle-tested force to be reconked with when called upon. Equaly our diplomacy has extended to many nations starting with the position of recruitment officer and comming full circle to ambassadorships and the new minister of immigration. We are truly an progressively evolving region and a benchmark for success.
I would like to take this time to remind all nations that your endorsements are precious and hold a power all their own - the power to support. Only you have control of your ability to endorse and as witnessed in these last two weeks that power is great! I encourage everyone to meet and ask the new delegate questions, while also respecting the level and pace of the delegates new duties.
I will stay on in the region to watch it progress and finally see the other dimensions of our great residence. To all new nations I bid you welcome - you have picked and excellent region to call home.
