It is possible, just a tremendous amount of work. I recently went through and chronicled the discussion of the Constitution before it was ratified. I am attempting to work on a similar thing for the history of the Senators and their campaigns, but the work goes slow. There are a lot of threads in the History department, and it is painstaking to transfer that to a chronicle. I would, someday, like to see the whole history of our great region available to anyone who would like to read it. But it is the kind of work that takes a good bit of time.
As far as it being in one thread, I don't know. We're talking about a lot of history.

One of the hardest parts about creating a 10K Islands chronicle would be determining how much detail we would want to add. Adding very small events and occasions would be very time-consuming, but without them, the chronicle just wouldn't seem to be complete.
Even without a chronicle, I think our history is very well preserved. The University of 10000 Islands section of the forums holds pretty much any piece of information that you would ever need to research our regional history.
