This statute will go into effect after the delegate elections that are currently being held.
"All nations seeking service in the Council of Nine, whether this is as United Nations Delegate or as Senator, shall have at least spent one month in the region before running for office. This shall be determined by forum registration date on the 10000 Islands H.Q. proboards website."
This is the first ever statute passed by the Council of Nine. As I said before, it goes into effect after the current delegate elections, so no candidates will be disqualified for these elections.
