Here I sit watching the movie Monster for the first time. All I can say is WOW. I have never felt the emotions I felt watching it. I just had to say something on the subject of serial killers. For a long time I have had a facination with them. It all statred when I was younger and had to do a report on Charles Mansion and found out my granfather worked the case. I have read many many books on all kinds of killers. This one though, I don't know. People are sick. Not only do we have to worry about large threat ie:terrorist but we also have to worry about local threats. When I think about it there are a lot of psycos out here. Every day a lot people disapear. Are there reallyt that many psycos? If I could I would go to school to become either a forensic anthropoligist or an FBI Profiler. The only thing that is keeping me from doing it is my emotion. One child and I would kill myself. I don't know how someone could hurt a child. It sounds sick but I can almost understand killing an adult but a child. And the things people due to children, I have no tolerance for it. I dont care who you are picking on children is weak. If I ran the world The punishment for crimes againts humans, ie murder and rape, would be so bad I can't even think about it. This would go for everyone. I don't care who you are, even if you were in the goverment, a cop, or millitary. Murder and crimes of that sort are wrong in any situation, even war. The punishment for crimes against children, well I think my ideas are illigal in almoat the entire world. Just think of the worst way to die you can and than multiply it by one million. That would be nothing. Criminals would be begging me to kill them just to end the pain. Oh and the families of the victems would be aloud to administer the punishment. If they wanted to. Basicly by the time I was done there would be nothing left. Not even enough to bury.
This is a tough thread I know but I am sick of it. I work with a girl who is in school for forensics. She and I talk a bit on the subject. I think its time we all stop worrying about what is going on in other countries and try to figure out a way to protect our own people from eachother. This is not only a problem for the US but whole world. Every country has one thing in common, as sick as it is. We all have psycos who abuct, rape, toture, and kill innocent peolpe. And most of they time they are able to slip away from the police. With all the tecnology and things this is unexceptable. Just watch the news. Every day someone disapears or someone is found who was forced to live in horable conditions by their own parents. Myhusband is afraid to let me walk to the store on the accross the street at night because of the pcycos that live in the park up the steet. That is far worse than anything. To be afraid in your own neighbor hood. I am not afraid of terrorist, but I am afraid of psycos, a terrorist will kill you, a psyco will keep you. Think about it what is a bigger fear. Being killed instantly or almost instantly in an attack or being held and tortured for days maybe even years knowing that at any time you are going to die. At least in a terrorist attack familly and loved ones would most likely know what happened to you. In the other situaion they may never find out. That would suck.
We really need to do something about this. Our own people are at risk everyday.
If I dont stop now this will go on forever. The movie is over, it was amazing. I have a new respect for Charlize Theron. I don't know if I could have played that part. I am emotionaly exhausted just from watching it, I don't know how she did it.
