CSS and WoW

i was sitting at my desk, twidiling my thumbs waiting to respawn after a hard bit game of Css, when it hit me. Why dont we make a 1000 islands CSS clan, and if any of u have it, a WoW guild

Oh! World of Warcraft, but Im still taking a wild guess that CSS is Counterstrike, but the acronym doesn't work out..... So.

CSS: Counter-Strike: Source

Yeah, Source is the newest version of CS. I don't know if it's a simple updating of CS, or if they modified Half-Life 2. CounterStrike was a mod of Half Life 1, so it'd make sence to mod HL2. I think it's just an update, though.

its really good. i never played counterstrike, but this is much better then anygame i have ever played

CS was da bomb! The thing that annoyed me about it though is that in rl, SAS (Aus) and SWAT etc will surround a building by perching up the top of a building and waiting for the criminals to come out.

In CS the game, you play the role of these troops trying to rescue the hostages if u r counter-terrorist, or stopping the ct's. Other maps might be the mission to blow up the map if u r terrorists, or defuse the bomb if u r CT's

Anyway, my point is that people go off at you for "camping" and using a sniper rifle in the game. It's the whole point! It's strategic!

That always bothered me, too. People were furious that you did what the game was specifically supposed to allow. There's a reason for all those excellent vantage points and ultra-high-powered sniper rifles.

When are CS players gonna get through their head that Counterstrike is not meant to be played like Quake or Unreal Tournament where the motto is "Storm the place and shoot anything that moves"

Although, I believe the developer (Gooseman) of CS knew that people would get annoyed with snipers, and thats why the "No Campers" spray logo is in the game (it's the one with the tent it it)

I always was partial to Miami, although I believe that may only be available in XBox CS. By the way, I was kicking around the idea of grabbing WoW. Anyone have it?

getting it. about camping, it depends what server u go on. some people dont mind if u do it 4 a bit, and some hate it. the ones i play on dont like if u camp with like, an uzi, but findit fine if u cmp with a sniper and doi it proparly.

about WoW, im getting it soon. gonna be good
