The man is theoritical physicist with a degree from MIT formerly had a job at a top secret research instillation now in the employ of a mysterious man in a blue-grey suit with other worldly powers. Furthermore the man is an expert with weapons and explosives which he has used to combat aliens, a highly trained military unit, and a vast alien empire and their human puppets.
