Please join the Liberal Party
Please join the Liberal Party, we are a Great Party. We are trying to get the voices of the non-un member heard. As a party, we believe it is important for everyone to be heard and have an equal say in how this government runs.
We also believe that the non-tito members must be heard too.
Equality -
The UN for the past year has been an effective way to stop region crashers and those who like to violate the rules and ways of NationStates. We also see that 10000 Islands has adopted a similar system by allowing only UN members to join in general elections, TITO and UN Delegate elections. The outcome has been remarkable and has led many regions to adopt similar systems. Although true democracy will never be reached in NationStates, let alone 10000 Islands, we should continue to strive for more equality in 10000 Islands. The new commitee should be created to represent the voices of non-UN members but will only contribute 5 to 10 percent in votes of any election. It is a very insignificant number, but at least we'll be able to allow more voices to be heard and will reduce the opportunities of spies and traitors to overrule the elections.
Ways we can achieve this:
- Through discussion with the Senate, UN Delegate and Founder
- This is an issue that we would believe many political parties would be able to agree on after discussion, debate and cooperation.
- Through a referendum
We are annoyed for its harshness and for being outspoken about the ways of how 10000 Islands have ran in the past and for the ideas of conservatism. If you have been misled, We apologize for the wording of this platform as that was not its intent. Our full intent is always and will be to try and improve the system through positive debate, and calls for improvement. This platform will not only look at the full left wing liberal side, but will also consider ways in which can join other political parties and create a compromise on any issue. Our criticism and things we consider would improve 10000 Islands is not a threat or an act of agression; it is simply part of debate and part of how we need to run as a political party.
As the Deputy Leader, I believe that we need to be equal(even through life is sometimes not fair). I encourage you to consider joining the Liberal Party of 10K Islands. As a party we can make a difference, that will be a life changing difference here
