I removed that post you made because even though the info can be put together by outsiders, we don't like to publicize it. It was interesting to see all in one place, though.

yesterday I made a very simple post to the xki board called 'review member's list'.
I'd basically gone through the 20 pages of forum members and summed up the catagories in numbers, ie. CTE 146, non UN 104, Friends 63. One list for the non UN catagories and another for the UN catagories..( the first WAY outnumbered the latter.)

Grub deleted it- WHY doesn't he want that info publicized? No nation names were given.
A thrice elected Senior Senator can't even demonstrate to their voters that leadership and registration and representation in the forum, could use some work?

This is REPRESSIVE- (butt opposite to progressive). The 'we' Grub mentioned is certainly NOT composed of Co9-who was never consulted about the matter. I wrote him back asking him to please send me a copy of the post ( which was TOTALLY 'just the facts, Mam'-and facts that ARE available to nations anyway), why it couldn't have simply been transferred to the Senate Office thread..and asked WHY doesn't he want it publicized.

Is there ANYTHING UPP can do regarding heavy handed founder deletions? (since C09 isn't EVEN allowed to twiddle their thumbs anymore?)

First, we should make a special section, if it doesn't already exist, for players that contributed heavily to the region but disappeared. Lock. would fit into this category.

Back to topic - So we have 104 non-UN forum registered 10K members.
And 79 UN forum registered 10K members.

For a total of 183. Would be nice to now how many really are active or do they post once every two weeks.

In NS we have 383 total 10K members. But in there are included non-active, forum and non forum members, diplomats and friends.
But should point out that out of those 383 nations seven including my UN nation are mine. So seven nations controlled by one member. If we did a count by member instead of by nations numbers would probably be lower.
Has for TITO, I really thought we had more members in TITO. That could be a reason the founder would rather not see a break up of the numbers. The enemy would also be able to see it. Do our TITO members know how many other TITO members there are.

We have around 40 active UN registered nations. The voting gives a good indication of this, and in 2 years (possibly longer) that's the highest turnout we've ever had. More nations seem to be UN on the forum than before, though not enough.

as for the arbitrary deletion, I would be interested to hear Grub's response. I can't see any reason to delete this information if indeed, as he says, it can be garnered by outsiders anyway. I found it quite interesting. I will take the matter to Grub.

I am not going to take your attitude anymore. The bottom line is that when you write me, write me with respect or do not write at all. You should not assume that you know everything and for the future, there is NO NEED to write words in all caps. Isn't that caps thing annoying? It is for me. Also, everything that is done is not done against you.

The reason that your post was removed (and sent back to you) is that it is not a good idea to post TITO numbers in a public forum. All of that information can be had, but it takes a lot of effort, as you know, and we are better off with others putting in the leg work if they want that kind of info.

I appreciate you putting in all that effort because I know it was not easy to do, but we needed to remove it. Sorry all of your work will not be seen, but that is the way it needs to be.

I wrote him back saying 'attitude' is what politicians around here say when they read anything they don't like, that I don't assume I know everything nor do I have a persecution complex. Why can HE write in caps and not me? Double standards are what is annoying. Did I call him names? False claims... What about the 'freedom' supposedly protected by the constitution? I wasn't 'griefing'.
Told him if the TITO thing was the prob then the TITO could be added to the UN members catagory.
Then he wrote again twice, much milder now, saying the post was fine except for the TITO thing, so I'll edit the first post here and combine TITO with UN members..sheesh...

^one must include the co9 and global moderators as UN members too- the count is hardly indicative of anything however because updating the member list is hardly precise.
Estay was already 5 ahead before that count was made.

Interesting...... I can see his point, though... and yours, Senator. I side with you, anyways, on this info, but maybe he thinks it's a little... "sensitive", but then again, combining the numbers as you said may make it "ok" to be publicised... in any case, great job in checking those Statistics! This info is pretty cool...

Oh, by the way, do you know any way of 'merchandising' my Spanish class through the Forums in a really effective way?

Just read it, essentially Grub deleated G&B's post, and the (inside joke from Rineu) Honorable member wanted to know why, And here comes the small war in about TITO...
