As promised, Jesioneka will withdraw from the UN due to the fact that three of the last four resolutions violate all states sovereignty and, in particular, contradict Jesionekan laws. While I acknowledge that UN troops will not send forces into my nation to make sure I adhere to it, I hold myself to a higher standard of that. Meaning, I value international law and follow its decrees.
Unfortunately, I understand how this will affect my participation in the region and otherwise. The costs are too great, however, to stay in the UN and infringe upon my values and morals. Isolationism must be my foreign policy at this time.
I wish this region all the best in the future; may it prosper, and long live the 10000 Islands. Perhaps someday I will reconsider, but for now, this is my farewell to public life.
Goodbye.

Though it is a very sad case, we do understand your reason for leaving and we hereby would like to wish you the best of luck in the future.
For a while now many nations have withdrawn from the UN. It is indeed regretful.

I am sorry to see you resign the from the UN. You were a good candidate for Senate and I hope you continue to add input for the region.

Farewell, Jesioneka. I am sad to see you go. You were a wonderful candidate for senator, and an important part of our 10000 Islands community. Let us hope that this is more of farewell than an actual goodbye.

The EUJ is pleased to announce that due to friendly relations and aggressive trade policies, Jesioneka has added a new island to its federation of united states.
The Colony of Jesion is now a part of Jesioneka's empire. Because of our growth, the Parliament of Jesioneka has decided to rescind its UN vote and rejoin the United Nations. Moreover, because of our fragile new colony's need for protection, Jesioneka will at long last break its neutrality and join TITO.
Today marks a new day in Jesioneka. It is an end to the months-long isolationism imposed by the UN's intrusive resolutions concerning copyright laws and protistution.
Long live 10000 Islands! Long live the Jesionekan empire (small as it may be)!

Good to have you back. Any chance you will run for Senate?

For various reasons, I will not be pursuing a seat in the Senate this time around. Life is way too busy right now. Plus, I vowed not to run for Senate in the next election after losing my bid last time. Most importantly, after joining TITO and ending my neutrality, my platform of representing alternative voices in the 10000 Islands is no longer relevant. But currently I'm happy to simply rejoin the UN and take on a role in TITO, which is new to me.
There are plenty of other candidates running that would make suitable Senators, although it is not my place to endorse any of them. I'm still deciding how to vote, actually, depending on the matchups of course.
Thanks for the question, though.

The fact that you have returned brings a new light to the peoples who have also withdrawn. A new view seems to be taking place, and a wise one if I say so myself. The UN seems to be taking a nice turn on its policies, with much more reasonable and needed proposals.

The EUJ is pleased to announce that, after a close vote by Parliament, Jesioneka will join TITO! While old-style neutralists and isolationists privately grumbled about relocating themselves to the new colony of Jesion, Jesioneka's more progressive leaders forecast a new era in the nation's history.
We look forward to working more closely with our fellow nations in the future.
