The World Assembly Politcal Party

[Hahiha / USSR]

The World Assembly Political Party is for those who wish to discuss real life events such as the bombings in Syria or Kim Jong Un in North Korea. We also discuss past and present WA Resolutions, along with propose our own to each other. We, like  The Defense Party are pro Defender, but we mainly discuss real life events. We strive for truth and hope to offer a  new insight to XKI, one of a deliberately thought out plan. PM me so I can add you to the current list if members.

Not really, at least not as far as I know. Besides as we grow we'll develope new ideas and ideologies.

Real life events can be discussed in the Great Debate Hall and there are two separate sub-boards for discussing WA proposals (one for proposals that islanders are drafting and one for proposals up for vote).

For me, i'm a liberal/leftist, like democrats in US or ESP in the EU.
i believe in economical and civil freedom, but with some help from the state, like free healtcare and education, low taxes for enterpeises but high taxation for the richer.

Okay, okay. Now, I'm not a liberal, but I share a few of their ideologies. I am very far from being a conservative republican, as far as I can be. If I had to side with one side, it'd be the liberals. I define myself as an independent in civil and economic issues. Now, that's kind of ambiguous as every independent is different. By this I mean I support civil liberties with everyone on everything with logical bounds, and I support free trade. Yes, I would think it to be appropriate if there were some kind of universal healthcare put into place in the US, but a system that won't cost everyone half of their income; I support a reasonable healthcare system. I feel that citizens have to have an active part in their government to have a successful government, even if it's just voting for politicians which we can't even have everyone participate in. Church and state: complete separation. I think that the funding of campaigns should be closely monitored. A single individual should not be able to donate 500 million dollars to a single person running for office; Fixing an election shouldn't be allowed. Furthermore, corporations are not persons and they don't have the right to fund a campaign like a person does. People shouldn't be able to have their voice be heard on a basis of how much money they have, but rather to the fact that everyone has the same exact amount of say in their government as anyone else does. So here are "a few" of MY views, not necessarily everyone in our group's thoughts.
