Welcome to the June Poet Laureate Contest, with the theme of limericks. Below are all the eligible poems I received, ordered randomly by RANDOM.org. Anyone may vote in this contest, and the poem with the most votes earns its author the title of Poet Laureate! Entry 1
Two slices of bread, rye or wheat
Look inbetwixt, you'll find the meat
How dare you slay that poor cow
Or mayhaps you fancy the sow
Peanut butter and jelly can't be beat!

There once lived a bastard and rakehell
Whose children made his life less than swell
By poison and drowning
He was erstwhile frowning
And his life was made easy and well
Entry 3
Ode to the Righteously Victorious
In the darkness one hears a roar,
next the region is midst of war.
But TITO is quite swift,
drinks and tacos uplift,
so Black Hawks & Co. are a bore.
