It's time for the third annual incarnation of the Paffnia Prize, the award given to the nation that comes up with the best new, implemented idea for the Islands each year. For the first time, the Prize, now with new image above, will be administered and partially funded by Taco Island Charities. All the information on the Prize can be found here.
This year, my personal contribution to the Prize stands at 64,544
, and growing. New this year, TIC will match whatever I (Paffnia) put in, effectively doubling the Prize. Plus, with donations of 912 from TAS Asamania, 10,000 from Elite, and 25,000 from Ater Nox the Prize is up to 165,000 . Others are, of course, welcome to donate on top of that.Nominations will remain open until January 8 (my fourth anniversary in the Islands), at which point voting will occur for a week.
Here are a list of nominated ideas off the top of my head. If any others come to mind, please post them either below or here. This year has been rather fruitful, but do keep in mind that all nominated ideas need to be new, or at least substantially revamped. Thus, the new shop system is in the running, being substantially different from the old one, but the restoring of forum awards isn't, being essentially the same as before. Also, I've lumped together a ton of technical forum upgrades under the first entry, to prevent a chaotic overload of entries (They're listed in full under the spoiler.).
