Fourth Annual Paffnia Prize
It's time for the fourth annual incarnation of the Paffnia Prize, the award given to the nation that comes up with the best new, implemented idea for the Islands each year. The Prize is administered and partially funded by Taco Island Charities . All the information on the Prize can be found here.
This year, my personal contribution to the Prize stands at 199,647
, and growing. Like last year, TIC will match whatever I ( Paffnia ) put in, using, in part, the 687,421 left by the will of Shizensky . Plus, with a donation of 10,000 from Woonsocket (left over from last year), the Prize is now up to 409,294 , its largest sum ever. Others are, of course, welcome to donate on top of that.Nominations will remain open until January 8 (my fifth anniversary in the Islands), at which point voting will occur for a week.
